Clean and good value
Friendly staff and very clean and comfortable room in a good location for a great price. The room was small but had tea- and coffee-making facilities and a fantastic shower. For the price I have no criticisms whatsoever.

Perfectly acceptable city centre hotel
Exceptionally friendly welcome at reception which seemed really genuine (and unusual in chain hotels). Room very clean and comfortable, although toiletries in bathroom disappointing - no bath foam, which is imperative for long soaks on exhausting city breaks. Breakfast poor value, as we expected - always a dilemma. Do you pay over the odds for a mediocre breakfast or search for breakfast elsewhere? Hotel good value overall.
Traveller's tip on dining
Super restaurant called le Conde a couple of streets away from hotel, going away from Perrache. Complimentary aperitif and wonderful fondue bourgignonne.
