Skip Negril and Legends Beach Resort
After visiting other Caribbean locations, Negrils 7 mile beach is a turn off. Reason being the peddler shacks in between the resorts takes away the natural beauty of a resort beach. The constant selling of everything from dope to bananas by the natives up and down the beach is depressing. Legends only have 5 rooms you can see the ocean from and they overlook the top of the restaurant For more bang for your money and with a better location try Cancun, Grand Cayman, or someother location.
Skip Negril.

Best visit yet to Negril
Had a wonderful time at Legends. The basic beachside room was nice, but upgraded to an ocean view when became available to enjoy the water views 24 hrs a day. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special, Mommas cooking was spectacular. Bartender Lovey was always quick to make sure you had a "cold one" in hand. The all inclusive was the way to go for us. But beware of her "Zombies!" Will knock you off your barstool!
Visit Samsura, sister resort for the evening for a quiet change of pace.

A Wonderful Experience
This resort was everything that we could have hoped for and more. We had an ocean view room with a king size bed over the dining area. Easy access to beach, dining & pool. The dining staff couldnt have been friendlier or more hospitable. Mama, our cook, fixed delicious meals. Enjoyed the opportunity to sample local cuisine. Food was plentiful with something for everyones liking. Definitely recommend the all inclusive. Safety boxes were available for rent $3.00 a day, to store your valuables. Towels were provided but had to be exchanged for clean ones at the front desk. Minor inconveinece but no big deal. Sherlock & Mike made our beach experience terrific. Felt safe & comfortable at all times. The Jamican culture was clearly evident in this small resort. Very colorful decor and family like atmosphere. Sister resort Samsara was more upscale & offered a different experience with the cliffs & basic layout. Appreciated the availablilty to access both resorts. This was our first trip to this beautiful island. It was a wonderful vacation.
Wait till you get there to book any tours or activities. Very negotiable
