Enjoyable trip to Rome made even more so by the hotel we stayed in
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the River Palace Hotel (Sep 09) after coming across it on hotels.com and reading the reviews - i have to say that we were very happy with the hotel as it was centrally located, the staff were so friendly and very helpful, it was secure, the room was a decent size and we felt it was good value considering the prices of other hotels we reviewed in Rome and we also thought the breakfast buffet was of a good standard. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to other travellers.
There was a lovely local restaurant literally across the road from the hotel that served the best pizza we had in Rome and it was SO cheap!!! Also there was a great little men’s shop located very close to the hotel (on the same side of the street as you walked towards place del popolo) which had an excellent selection of mens clothing and where we encountered the most helpful shop assistant in Rome.

Excellent
Room was small but they’re all like that in city hotels, location couldn’t better for all major sites, clean, great service, can’t complain at all. Definite recommendation.

Good Hotel & Good Location
Although the room was very small, it was certainly large enough for the 3 days we were there. The breakfast was great & much better than what you would expect at most hotels. The staff was friendly & helpful. We would certainly stay here again.
