Relaxing stay
We stayed at this hotel out of season and it was very quiet with not many other guests. Consequently all the facilities like the pool and area were practically deserted.Also the pool bar was closed.Our room was first class with a good view of the grounds and nearby golf course. My only criticism was when we ate in the bar one evening and the food was not very good. The portions were small and the main courses came cold. These were then obviously taken back into the kitchen and put in the microwave. Overall though our stay was very good.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The local area is very residential but I imagine in the height of summer there will be more bars etc open especially in the complex next to the golf club. You can get a tram into the centre of Alicante by walking about 400 metres past the sports centre and there is a station called Condomina.By changing trams at Isla de negra station, you can get to the terminus at the Marina in about 20 minutes and it only costs 1.15 euros.

Excellent hotel pity about the surrounding area
The position of the hotel on the golf course is superb but the huge number of high rise flats between the hotel and the beach is unfortunate.To compound the problem they are mainly second homes for Spaniards which are not occupied in the Autumn and Winter, which means that many of the good restaurants and bars are closed.It is rather a ghost town at this time of year. Lovely beach when you get to it.
If you are not a golfer pretty limited.The tram service to Alicante is excellent, very clean, frequent,cheap and convenient.

Quiet and relaxing
Great hotel and grounds and attentive staff. Ideal for those wanting to relax and/or play golf but appreciate a touch of luxury too. Immediate vicinity fairly quiet in terms of bars and restaurants.
