Get what you pay for
Nothing special, but very nice price. Have to pay for internet. This is about 400 meters from Memorial Museum, but that has a popular bus stop right there. Evertyhing else...you get what you pay for.
Use the bus here. It’s a bit of a jaunt, but is well worth it.

Outside town but decent
This hotel is outside the main city of Caen so you will realistically need a rental car to get to it. They have busing that almost reaches it by way of the Peace Memorial but it is still around a 10 minute walk from there. That said, the room was clean and comfortable and they had free wifi. The hotel restaurant had good food and since the place was out of town I ended up eating there a couple nights. The room size was good for Europe and at least the location was quiet.

Hôtel Kyriad Caen Memorial
The Hotel Kyriad Caen Memorial, is only 400m away from the American Memorial, but is 15 minutes away from the center of Caen and an hour away from the American beaches. The hotel is nothing special. Upon entering the room, there was pubic hair all over our toliet, and water from the last guest in the hot water heater, as well as some trash still around the room. The pricing in France is outrageous. There is gratuity added to everything, and I mean everything. Such as a t-shirt I bought from a Hard Rock Cafe. 30% gratuity was added to our stay at the hotel. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this hotel, I would stay in the town of Bayuex
