Copthorne very good value
The Copthorne basic rooms are nothing special, however they are clean and comfortable and offer very good value
They still offer smoking rooms

A very memorable stay
I booked the hotel for my wedding night but got given a smoking room with two beds. Upon explaining this to the staff, who were extremely helpful, they upgraded my room to an executive, which was most appreciated, Thank you!

Hotel is great if you just want a clean hotel and room, for a stop over. However...
However, if it is to stay in to get into London each day it might be wiser to choose a closer hotel and one that is in a nicer, safer area. You pay 6pounds for the taxi to get you to the train station then about 12pounds for train to London. If you have your car, you have to pay 6pounds per over night stay. Trains to london and return are fairly frequent but waiting in slough doesnt feel safe. I would recommend the hotel but I personally wouldnt go back purely for the unsafe environment.

We do put vehicle security alert notices up throughout the car park as guests do tend to leave lap tops & sat navs in cars which is not a good idea wherever you are, whilst we appreciate your comments re safety in this area we are not currently experiencing any significant security issues and are not aware of any in Slough.
