Excellent value
Clean, recently-refurbished hotel in good location. Close to shops, restaurants and tube station, but in pleasant, quiet square. In-room facilities good for price - include fridge and safe. Room very small, but comfortable. Odd mix of TV channels available!

Small but clean and tidy
Great location, close to Paddington (walking distance which was handy as Circle Line went down the day we left). Close to the tube station. Room was clean and tidy but quite small, however the price reflects this as was very cheap and cheerful. Pain having to go outside for a cigerette in the rain but most hotels are now smoke free anyway. Do take your own towels as they only provided a small one each and if you have long hair, its a bit tricky! Would be good to have had a table to make tea and coffee and not boil kettle on floor! All said and done, would stay again as the whole point of going to London is to go see the sites isnt it?

If you do stay....ask about construction
We were awaken every morning at 5:00 am by construction and staff yelling in the workshop directly next to our room. Front desk staff didnt seem to care and said they could not move us. We also were woken up sometimes at midnight by staff meeting in the workshop to talk about manicures and pedicures. The walls were very thin so we could here everything. THe only good thing about the hotel is the short distance to the tube station.
