Pricey for what it is
Maybe you are paying for the location...? Its a lot of money, but I dont know what my expenses really covered. I still had to pay for Wi-Fi. Guhh...companies need to realize we are in the 21st century and have free-wifi for paying customers. Nothing was particularly bad. The room was clean, the hotel was old--but had a rustic feel to it. But I was not impressed by a whole lot, other than the location.

Excellent hotel, Perfect Location
Despite what I quickly read about this hotel I had to book at at last minutes notice. I was completely surprised when I arrived, mainly due to the great proximity to Oxford Circus and the trendy Soho area. This was a great hotel for the money, to be in such a great location I would have expected it to be more than double the price I paid. The hotel itself is surrounded by many great pubs and trendy restaurants as well as a Starbucks right outside the front door. All the shopping you need is a stones throw away. I will recommend this hotel to anyone

Great Location, great staff!
Stayed here only for one night while attended a seminar very nearby. The hotel is older and some of the rooms are smaller but they are very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We dropped our luggage off 6 hours before check in and came back to find it safely in our room, no luggage tags or confusion involved.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are numerous great restaurants nearby all with a discount provided for hotel tenants. We went to Dim T, one of our favorites for dinner it was only about 200 feet from the hotel entrance.
