Good for your money
Hotel is nice but needs a little upgrading at the lobby and bar area. Pool was great so was the snorking. For the money we paid the room was kept very clean, great if you know your way around town or have family or friends to visit. It’s a just for sleeping hotel nothing really exciting to do.

A stone throw from the shops overlooking the beach
I stayed for 6 nights at Silver seas, they have very large rooms with double beds, powerful showers. The rooms are very basic, no colourful decor and very thin curtains that lets the lights in if you need to have a lie in. I never swan in the sea, looks dangerous to me and there was no beach to mention. The staffs are very friendly. For a hotel in the heart of ocho rios this is a very good price. I would definately stay here again but i dont think my 7 year old son would like it because of the lack of beach.
This is not a luxury hotel, this is a place to sleep, bathe and spend the rest of your days on excurtion. I have seen other nearby property at similar price but Silver seas is far better than the others.

Great for the price
Hotel was nice and clean with an exquisite view of the ocean. I would definitly come back. However the food service in the restaurant was really slow. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We did not even get our drinks for 15 minutes. Waitness was polite but distant. The food tasted ok but I had actually mold on my toast!! How could this happen! Need to check on their quality of food they serve.
