customer is not priority.....

the only reason we stayed at this hotel was due to a halloween convention that was held in the hotel. we tried to order room service and the phone was completely ignored....ended up having to walk downstairs and order it in person.....there is a mcdonalds in walking distance that would have provided better food and service...we ate there for breakfast the next day - great coffee.....once the convention ended we still had a few days left to try and enjoy london but after the substandard service we opted to change to a hotel more convenient to the city....the staff was not helpful when it came to requesting a cab for our journey...they called a private cab company that over charged us....looked like they had their number on speed dial - when the cab arrived i was upset at what they had done but since my partner was severely ill i paid the extra money to keep us from waiting for another cab....lesson learned...will not stay here again even if there is another convention there....the inconvenience outweighed the convenience

make sure you ask for a public taxi so that you can avoid being scammed

Comfy but overpriced

Overall I found this hotel very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy and the hotel staff were genrally very helpful. The only aspect I was displeased with was the prices. I understand hotels charge over the odds for everything but £3.75 for a cup of tea is outrageous! To avoid paying the hotel prices we ate at the local McDonalds on more than one occasion. I think a review of the prices is on order, especially with the state if the economy at present. There may be many people out there willing to pay nearly £4.00 for a tea bag, water and a splash of milk but I’m sure as heck ain’t one of them! I would recommend this hotel, but make sure you have a lot of money in your back pocket.

Avoid

I believe this hotel is best avoided unless you can book cheaply, I have stayed here twice in the last 3 years only because I got it for a good price.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

It is only a 4.00 GBP and 10 mins bus ride from LHR terminals
