Great value hotel
Great location, walking distance to all main attractions and cafes etc. Metro station pretty much across the road. Really really small room! But that was expected as we had been warned that European hotels were like this. Were disappointed that there was no tea or coffee supplied daily in the room and had to ask every day for this, but was always readily available once asked for. Nice modern bathroom and room was lovely and warm.

Hotel Eiffel Segur
the hotel was a good base for a sightseeing city break to paris. the rooms are on the small side, but they are big enough for what you need. the bathrooms have a shower, sink and toilet, and are clean, but not very modern. the bedroom has a small dressing table, a small wardrobe and a bed. we had a room facing the street, and the noise level was quite acceptable because of very good double glazing. the only disappointment was that there was no hairdryer in the room. although we did not take breakfast, it seemed not very good value for money and much nicer atmospheres are available just down the street. overall i would recommend this hotel as it is good value for money and is a good base for a city break.

Nice Hotel near the Eiffel Tower
It was a reasonably priced hotel very close to the Eiffel Tower. I only had 1/2 day in Paris so I just chose to see the Eiffel. The hotel was under construction when I was there but that was only a minor inconvenience. The staff was very helpful and the room comfortable.

Cant wait to go back
We really loved this hotel. Very quiet area, very close to the Eiffel Tower. We walked there almost everyday to start our day. The 69 bus stop was at the Eiffel Tower. the hotel was very clean, new towels everyday. We were on the top floor (5th) room #55, the room was small but perfect for us. It had a skylight that you could open, and the room had a vaulted ceiling. We ate at the pizza restaurant next door, very good. Right across the street was a small market, perfect for chips, cokes, beer, etc. Very nice man owned it. The metro runs right in front of the hotel, the metro stop was a few blocks down towards the river. We are already planning our next trip back and will stay here again. We stayed here for 6 nights, and 1 night in the Latin Quarter. Awesome trip!!

Great Hotel
The hotel is small and so are the rooms. It is great for sleeping. I was out there for vacation with the wife. The hotel isnt luxurious, but it is clean. The location is decent because you arent far from the Metro. There are two Metro stations 1/2 block away. Everything was easily accessible from this location. Also, there is a market across the street.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are a lot of restaurants and cafes. Be sure to check restaurant reviews and recommendations before going. A great restaurant to eat at is Chez Papa.

Very good hotel
Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room required us to walk up a flight of stairs. Some of their rooms have an elevator. Hotel is ten min. walk to the Eiffel Tower. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
There are many small supermarkets and pastry shops nearby that you can buy pastries, fruit and make sandwichs from a loaf of bread.

Nice and Close to Eiffel Tower
This hotel is typical for a European hotel. The room size is small when compared to rooms in the USA...but this is normal in Europe. The hotel staff was helpful and the location is excellent for the price. The hotel is a nice 6 block walk from the Eiffel tower. Just beyone the Eiffel tower is the river where a boat pass can be purchased. The boat stops at all of the main attractions. There are many small shops and resturants in the area of the hotel. Paris is a nice place to visit for 3-4 days and this hotel puts you right near all of the favorites. Be prepared to spend lots of money on food and entertainment since Europe is quite expensive.

Great for a short stay in Paris
This hotel is ideally situated, just a few steps from two metro stations and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The double room we had was small, although as it is in an old building instead of a new build, this is to expected. The room was clean and the hotel staff were excellent.
Traveller's tip on dining
Try the restaurant next door called Les Pieds dans le Plat, excellent, reasonably priced menu and excellent service.

Good Location and Value
This is good value considering the great location to Eiffel Tower, UNESCO and metro station. The rooms are fairly clean and a little small but ok by european standards. The service at Front Desk is a little spotty, I did not get wake ups calls on two mornings, hairdryer did not work and no offer to replace. Totally pass on breakfast down in the basement, you are much better advised to go to a couple of the cafes and spend an addition euro or so.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Walking distance to Eiffel Tower, metro stop is very close by.

good value hotel in a quiet area
Charming, friendly and comfortable hotel in a surprisingly pleasant and quiet area yet handy for the sights. The room was rather small but good value overall for Paris, however although there was no noise from the street (from traffic or the metro)there was noise from within the building, the rooms did not seem to be soundproofed.

Good Hotel
The hotel was nice and clean, within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, with a view of the top half of the tower from our hotel room. I thought it was a little expensive, but so was everything else in Paris. The subway runs above ground just outside the hotel, which is nice having a subway stop so close, but you can hear the train from your hotel room. It doesnt run during the night, so you wont lose any sleep. The room was pretty small, but thats pretty standard for Europe. The bathroom was clean, but also small. If you are a lovable large person, it would be hard for you to move about around the toilet and shower door areas. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed the hotel being so close to everything.
Traveller's tip on dining
Prepare yourself to spend money on food. My wife and I went to a small pizzeria, bought two personal pizzas, one drink, and it cost us $45. If youre not big into dining, I would suggest finding one of the many street markets and buying small snack items for much less.

Value for money
Good value for money base for a short trip to Paris. We stayed here for one night and found the room to be comfortable and clean. The hotel is very close to the Segur Metro station giving easy access to all of the main sites. The Eiffel tower is within comfortable walking distance. Would recommend this hotel to friends and would definately use it again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If visiting the Louvre, take the Metro. Ticket machines located in the shopping centre below the Louvre and are a very good way of avoiding the queues.

excellent ubication
This is a nice hotel with a very little elevator, but an excellent ubication, very nice neiborhood, near eiffel tower and invalides. The subway station (cabronne) is yust two or three blocks from hotel. And there are very nice restaurants just in front of the subway station.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Just walk to Eiffel Tower or two Invalides and from there to Orsay Museum.

Not bad if youre on a budget...
It was my first time in Paris (on leisure) and the place was pretty convenient to all locations. Especially to the Eiffel Tower (15-20 min walk). Grant it, you had to take the metro at times but there were two locations right nearby. And the supermarket was across the street corner for food/snacks (breakfast at the hotel was too pricey for one eating). The room was small but most hotels in Paris are like that. The shower/bathroom was small but new and the bed was pretty comfy. Only downsides: Roomkeeping never changed the sheets unless requested and the TV had only news channels. All in French except 2 channels (CNN, French 24 English). Also, we had to keep requesting coffee/tea condiments every so often for the week. Overall, it was good location for sleep only.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
But the 10pack for the Metro. No need for cabs. The Metro is very easy to take to many of the tourist spots in Paris center. And buy snacks at the local mini market across the street (corner on Segur street). Also purchase bus tour (hop-on hop-off) that will take you to the main attractions easily!

Great Little Hotel
Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, my wife and I spent a week in this hotel and just loved it. Their staff is the best. Very friendly and hospitable. They gave us a lot of tips and were very helpful with directions. The hotel is very centric. Close to the Eiffel, Napoleons Tomb, 2 different Metro lines and close to many different eateries. We had breakfast in the coffee shops or bakeries no more than a couple of blocks away. And there is a small grocery store (diagonally across the street) where you can get water, wine, cheese, crackers, etc. Yes, rooms are small but rested comfortably. I felt their room prices are very reasonable compared to others (that have fancier lobbies). Since they are WIFI I used my IPOD to stay connected with family & friends thru email.

A gem of a find
This reasonably priced hotel far exceeded all expectations. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, offering advice on a daily basis - where to visit, how to get there etc. Our room faced the back of the hotel which was lovely and quiet, although the road outside was very quiet at night. On an evening there were plenty of restaurants and some nice bars within walking distance. I would definately like to visit again. Rooms are small but very clean and we did get tea and coffee making facilities in our room - a definate bonus.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Buy a Museum Pass - you avoid all the queues at every museum/monument - you can even go as far as Versailles! Use the Batobus to get around, much more scenic than the Metro - stops at the Eiffel tower, just 10 minutes from the Hotel

continental breakfast is not complimentary.
When my wife and I checked in the hotel the front desk clerk told us that a complimentary continental breakfast was included and served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We did not check since all the Best Western Hotels that we stayed in US did provide complimentary continental breakfast. We had very light breakfast for three days there. When we checked out a different front desk clerk asked us to pay 78 Euro for the breakfast. We did not have time to say anything since we had to catch our fly. Certainly we should not listen to the hotel clerk on the first day.

Cozy hotel in a great area!!
What a bargain! Great hotel in a convenient area with tram stops less than 5 minutes away! The hotel is tucked away on a non-touristy street but within 10 minutes of Eiffel Tower. There is a great little French restaurant right next door. The hotel staff is very friendly and the room was bright, clean and cozy, overlooking a small courtyard. The only downsize is the small size of the room - it may be difficult for some people to navigate since there is not much space between the bed and the walls! However, the bed is VERY comfortable and the linens are quite nice. Will definitely return!
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Skip the hotel breakfast and cross the street and walk down near the tram stop to the bakery in the morning for coffee and pastries (less than 5 Euros). Also, check out the local market under the tram stop on Sunday. You can grab a large container of Paella (5 Eu) and a bottle of wine (8 Eu) and sit out on the Eiffel Tower lawn and admire the view as you eat!
