New Jersey Hotel - Great for New York
We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2009. The hotel is in New Jersey not Manhattan but you are 1 min walk away from the PATH (underground) station that can take you to the World Trade Centre Site in 5 mins and Broadway (33rd Street) in about 15 mins. The PATH trains run 24/7 too, it never took us longer than 30mins to get back to the hotel even after 11pm. The fantastic bonus of this hotel is that you can wake up to the Manhattan skyline from your bedroom window. The hotel itself is well appointed and the rooms are of a large size (another bonus to being across the Hudson River). Service was great and unobtrusive, concierge was very helpful. The only negative points were that the hotel food was pricy and there were few dining options in the immediate area (although some fast food-type facilities for the local office workers and an authentic diner about 10 mins walk away). Also, being by the river it was quite windy!! However, a great hotel and we had a fantastic time. Would definitely go back there.
If you want to see the NYC skyline don’t go up the Empire State Building as the queue’s are long. Go to the Rockafeller Centre and do ’Top of the Rock.’ That way you get a view of the Empire State Building. Also, think twice before doing the bus tour - the traffic makes this a long experience (about 2 hours to do each loop).

Rooms are SPACIOUS
Manhattan is only one train stop away on the PATH. Leaving you at at the WTC, near the Financial District and Tribeca.

Will stay again and again!!!
Incredible views across Hudson and New York sky line from hotel. Subway to World Trade Center is right outside of hotel. Awesome!
