Lovely hotel - but food was hit and miss
Generally this is a lovely hotel and I would go back. Staff were lovely, room and public areas were clean and well-maintained. Ask for a room higher than the ground floor if you want a view from the balcony. Also, ask for a room in areas 2 or 3 to avoid overlooking the few bars in Caleta. The food and evening entertainment were a bit "hit and miss". All meals are served buffet with some cooking done fresh - eg pancakes and eggs at breakfast and meat and fish at dinner. I found something to eat every day - they present food for both English and German tastes but it was quite repetitive and sometimes some of the "salads" were obviously the previous day’s leftovers! Sometimes the food was quite bland. Easy to feed fussy eaters - full English breakfast available every morning and chips available every evening!
Traveller's tip
If you want a quiet room with a view ask for one higher than the ground floor in areas 2 or 3. Lovely nearby restaurant - La Fuente. Live music every evening (usually spanish guitar), lovely staff, tasty food.

Excellent Hotel
This is an excellent hotel and very well maintained. Very clean and tidy with excellent service from all staff. Swimming pools and pool facilities also very impressive. All Inclusive option is a ’must have’ as it is excellent value for money. Only downside is that there is very little for you to do outside the hotel. Go there if you want to relax in the sun!

Great hotel, but not best location
Hotel itself was very nice - extremely spacious, clean / new. The pools were large and the layout of was great, such that all rooms faced the pools and sea. Excellent choice of food at the buffet. Probably the best buffet I’ve experienced in a hotel. Downside is the location - although it is on a ’beach’ it’s totally man-made - the sand is more like builders sand, and it’s not particularly pituresque. Hiring a car was definitely a good idea - the dunes and beaches both north and south of the island are amazing.
