Comfortable
My room was so comfortable! The bathroom could be a little bigger, but it is Japan! The staff was amazing and brought us anything we wanted. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who enjoys being pampered.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
I recommend getting breakfast outside of the hotel. I DID NOT enjoy the traditional japanese bfast, and there is an amazing little diner about 3 blocks away that serves awesome pancakes and coffee for about 400 yen.

Excellent location
A very good hotel in an excellent location within walking distance of many major sites . A metro station (Keage) is also just around the corner. There was always plenty of helpful staff around .
Traveller's tip
Very quick and easy to get to from Kyoto station. Get the Karasuma line to Karasuma Oike and change there to the Tozai line for Keage station . Use exit 1 , turn left and walk for a minute and you are there. Check-in time really is 3pm. If you arrive earlier just leave your luggage with the hotel and start sight seeing. So many good temples and gardens are close by.
