Very Impressed!
Outstanding hotel. I was there for a conference which was at this hotel’s banquet hall. Service was simply superb. The only downside was the parking fee, but even that wasn’t bad.

Would love to stay here again
We had a great stay. We stayed in the older part of the hotel which has been renovated more recently than the newer tower. The room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the bathroom area is a little small. The staff was helpful and freindly. There are many activities within walking distance of the hotel. We had a great dinnner in the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel.

Superb accommodations
If you enjoy grand old hotels that have been restored to pristine condition, try the Amway. Also, consider trying the hotel’s 1913 restaurant: superb food quality and presentation; courteous and knowledgeable staff. Not cheap but could easily compete in Chicago or New York, and is a bargain at a third to a half less expensive for similar quality and presentation. I had no idea what I would find in Grand Rapids. Now having been there, I won’t consider another hotel when I return.

nice hotel
we spend january first there , the hotel was nice but the heating in the room was not efficient...outside it was 18 F and we weren’t comfortable in the room..not acceptable for a plazza hotel. the food was really good, room service good, except on the phone, we called room service because our tv ( old tv) was not functionning properly. the lady seemed annoyed by our phone call and she said will see what i can do ? what kind of answer is that ? but they finally sent someone and the tv was better not good quality image but it was ok . i am not going back to this hotel for sure

Nicest hotel in Grand Rapids
a charming old hotel - public areas are beautifully maintained. different towers of hotel offer different levels of room product and some are a bit tired but all are clean and comfortable.
