loved the whole experience!
The Hotel was beautiful and the staff spoke english. The hotel was easy to find and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood is Monmartre, so remember that you are in an area for nightlife and artists, not a cozy country retreat. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if I have the opportunity. The Hotel is located near many historical sights, and the area is full of bars, cafe’s, and disco’s.

Great location
The Villa Royale is what a French hotel would have been like in the 1800s. Completely refurbished in a beautiful Baroque style, it is a pleasant step back in time. The English speaking staff is friendly and helpful. A small, but beautiful dining area serves a nice buffet breakfast every morning.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The Villa Royale is located in the Pigalle area of Paris, and is directly across from a Metro stop from which you can travel quickly and safely to any point in Paris. Except for one block of sex shops, not unlike New York City, the neighborhood is clean, and friendly. A short walk takes you to Montmartre, and the basilica of Sacre Coeur. A city block away is the Moulin Rouge, and the new show is a must see for first time visitors.

Fantastic and charming hotel
A fantasic boutique hotel close to the wonderful world of Montemart. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay and the staff was really friendly and helpful with all our questions. Very close to central Paris and the Metro is just around the corner. The rooms are so charming and named after celebrities. We stayed in Madonna (401) and we had John Lennon on the same floor :) Even though Place Pigalle is a very busy place during the night you have to be an extremely light sleeper to be disturbed during the night. This hotel is well worth a stay and I’m sure that we will go back next time we’re in Paris.
Traveller's tip on dining
Take a walk up the hill to Rue de Abbesses and enjoy the food on offer in all the restaurants. Also book a table at Les Papilles restaurant close Luxembourg RER station. Well worth a visit.
