Avoid this hotel

Shabby, run down, sloppy service. The only decent aspect of this hotel are the impressive views of La Quebrada, apart from that forget it. What a shame this old landmark has been allowed to crumble into such a shabby state. Hardly worth a one star rating

Just okay

The hotel is just ok. We only stayed one night because we needed to move to a less expensive hotel. I would recommend staying in a hotel near Playa Condesa because it’s probably the nicest beach area in Acapulco, and also where the good places to go out are. We stayed in a cheap hotel near the Zocalo, and that was nice, except we were far from the good clubs. El Mirador is nice because you can watch the cliff divers, but it really is something you only want to watch once. The beach is not as close, and the swimming pools are ok except there is no bar service there.

Worth visiting for the location & the fantastic views

The hotel was Ok but as I booked it mainly for the location to The Clavadistas I feel I got my moneys worth. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that cannot climb LOTS of stairs, as it is on the side of the cliff and there is no other way to get to rooms than walking up hill.
