Lovely Hotel in Rome

The location of Bettoja Hotel Mediterraneo was perfect. Almost right in the center of Rome and walking distance to nearly everything. The only downside to the accomodations was that it did not offer free wireless internet. We thought it should for the price being paid.

Service was a double fault

They badly need a lesson in how to serve a customer. We found them rude and unhelpful and the front desk staff were the worst. Our lights in the room failed and it took them 35 minutes after two further phone calls to respond. This was at 6 o’clock at night (Dark)

Visit Piazza De Espagna but for heavens sake do not buy anything it is one of the most expensive areas anywhere in Europe

Memorable Stay

We chose this hotel primirarily for the location to Terminin Station and the historical sites. 90% of our stay we never used the metro, we were so thrilled that we were able to walk to most sites and restaurants., The service at the hotel was excellent, breakfast great value. Our suite was charming, comfortable and adequate. Lovely, lovely stay. We will no doubt reccomment this hotel to anyone.
