Millennhotel

Thanks to its strategic position, close to the main railway station and the exhibition centre and easy to reach from the airport and from the motorway, the Millennhotel, is the ideal place in Bologna whether you are travelling for business or for pleasure. The property is just a few steps away from via Indipendenza , one of the Bologna's most famous street, nearby piazza Maggiore , the city's main square and the narrow streets of the Medieval city centre. The reception is open 24-hours a day and its professional staff will do all their best to ensure you a memorable stay! They will give you any information you may need: maps, rent-a-car, events and theatre tickets, as well as safe deposit, computer rental and luggage deposit. Two meeting rooms are available, the biggest one can host up to 100 people, and they are supplied with all the equipment for your successful work shop.

Good location but smelly room

The hotel is in a fantastic location, very near to the station and a short walk to the centre. The hotel is in good condition and the reception is stunning. Our big disappointment was, despite having a non-smoking room, the room smelt strongly of smoke which was really unpleasant. Breakfast buffet selection was good, but the layout was awkward and confusing.

Traveller's tip on dining

Bologna is a fantastic university town to visit, lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Recommend the Trattoria Dal Biassant on Via Piella- best vegetarian tortellini ever.

Does the biz

Standard, modern hotel, clean, efficient, and well situated for a Bologna stay. Very close to the station so good if you want to travel to other places - we went to Ravenna. Hotels near stations have a slightly dodgy reputation - unjustified in this case. Rooms smallish but comfortable - excellent breakfast!

Traveller's tip

The taxi fare from the airport is around 17.50 euros and a lot easier than the airport bus. We find Italian taxis excellent.
