Hotel is not maintained - its the pitts!
This is nowhere near a three-star hotel. It is a roadstop motel type accomodation. Lots of tour-bus groups. Lobby OK - other areas particularly the hallways to the rooms shabby and not even clean. Carpet torn and with large stains and holes. Doors to rooms look insecure - many had damaged wood moldings, as though they were routinely "worked." Rooms unkempt - no service on 3 of 4 days we were at the hotel. Room finally serviced at our direct request, although sheets were never changed. They had a large room with dirty lines in racks (literally hundreds of linens-appearing to be far more than the hotel could collect from all rooms for several days - and they do not change sheets often - uncleaned and smelling unpleasantly. Bar charged equivalent of $24.85 US for 2 local beers -(one 66 cl and one 33 cl draft beer) Hotels are very expensive in this area, but if you can afford an alternative, avoid this hotel. It is the pitts!
Traveller's tip
If ypou have a car or can arrange transportation, side trips to Heninger,DK (close by - maybe 25km) and hops over to Sweden town of Lund (maybe 60km)- are two very charming locales for walking the cobblestones in beautifully preserved towns, shopping, dining and soaking up culture in an attractive and traditional ambient.

Good Hotel high phone gharges
Stayed at hotel on September the 1st and 2nd. The rooms are of a good size (I have stayed in many hotels and this was one of the larger rooms) with a nice sized bathroom but as mentioned elsewhere the hinged heavy glass shower screen doesn’t keep all the water out of the rest of the bathroom but neither does it flood it, mind out though as I bruised my fingers when it shut quickly. The rooms seemed clean to me, but even with the windows shut are definately not sound proof. Didn’t try the pool. If you want a good nights sleep ask for a room at the back as the road at the front is used by noisy motorbikes and of course as it is near the hospital also ambulances with sirens blaring and you will need the windows open in the summer as there is no air conditioning. The breakfast is good with both hot and cold selection and plenty of juices, tea and coffee and pastries. The only problem came at checkout when I was charged for three phone calls when I am sure I had made only one successful one. I was charged for the one that didn’t connect and for one call that I am sure I did not make. The rate charged was astrinomical as well, being about twice as much as using a mobile!!! Overall the stay was good but watch out for any extra charges.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Make sure you go on the water tour but wrap up warm. If you intend going up the Town Hall tower you can only go up at 12 noon Monday to Friday. The round tower though is open even on Sunday and is well worth a visit, if you are feeling fit.
