Not the best hotel I’ve stayed at!
We booked this hotel after reading the reviews posted. Not sure what hotel the former reviewers stayed at but it can’t have been this one! This was our short honeymoon. I emailed to request an early check-in and late check-out due to our flight times. No response received. On arrival we were told we were staying at their other hotel up the road. We’d not been advised and the Waldstein did still have our details. No apology or reason given. We insisted we wished to stay at the Waldstein. It’s in a perfect location for everything and very quiet. They finally found us a twin bedded room - great for a honeymoon! which would accommodate 3-4 people due to a lounge room with a rockhard sofabed with a sheet thrown over it, a duvet & a flat pillow. We wouldn’t have wanted to sleep on it. The bathroom sink had no plug. There were no pictures on the walls & cobwebs were hanging in our room. The TV & hairdryer worked & the complimentary bottle of wine was nice - but, no corkscrew to open it with! Breakfast was interesting - cold buffet ok - scrambled eggs & mixed veg or green beans an interesting hot buffet combo. In summary, would we recommend this hotel - definately not! 4* it’s not, more like a 2*. We did not feel welcome, the room was barren & it was a total disappointment. Prague though, is beautiful. Just stay somewhere else.

No parking facilities at the hotel or anywhere near.Large rooms inadequately heated.Restaurant closed although very attractive on the photos.

Nice hidden hotel not far from Charles Bridge and Castle.
This hotel is hidden away in a neighborhood not far from the castle and Charles Bridge, yet quiet and peaceful at night. Staff is friendly and helpful in a relaxed and charming manner.
