Absolutely great!
If your stayed here 2 or more years ago, you need to give them another chance. The day manager told us that they refurbished everything back then. Our room was great, the service excellent, and the staff very friendly. Good breakfast too. You cant get a better location. The train station is about 1 1/2 blocks away, one of the tour buses stops 50 yards down the street. We would absolutely stay here again if we go to Rome or just need a layover.
Take the hop -on,hop-off tour bus that you can pick up just down the street. Also, one of the managers told us that the best rates available are thru Expedia.

Great Location - but bring some ear plugs
The hotel was in a great location, close to the bus and train terminal which made travelling around very easy. The hotel was clean and the room was a good standard, although the bed was very firm! The only complaint we had was the lack of sound proofing on the windows. The hotel opposite is being renovated and the local restaurants emptied their bottles into the bins outside a closing time. This meant that we were distrurbed late at night and early in the morning by building work. The window didnt seem to seal properly and unfortunately meant we didnt sleep very well for the duration of our stay.
Buses are very cheap (1 euro per journey), but we found that most sights were within walkng distance - save some money and put on a pair of comfy shoes. Its worth exploring the streets to give the full flavour of the city, rather than sitting on a bus or metro.

Good value for money
This hotel is just 5 minutes away from the Central Station and is close to all the main attractions, so perfect for exploring Rome on foot. It is off the main road so the traffic noise is not too bad. This hotel is clean, the staff are friendly on the 24hr desk and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, there is an unlimited large buffet with rolls, ham, cheese, jam, french toast, a wide variety of croissants and pastries, cereals, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. I would definitely stay here again.
