My Pleasant stay on Santorini
The whole experience at the majestic was extremely satisfying. The cleanliness, comfort and the pleasant and efficient staff were top notch. The location to Fira was close enough yet far enough to give us just the right amount of excercize before and after a good meal in Fira. However the hotel itself had an excellent restaurant and the brerakfasts were full and delicious. I would highly recommend the hotel to my best friends.
Traveller's tip
Travelling by bus was reasonable and convenient but make sure you get there a little ahead of shedule and don’t be surprised if they are a little behind or a head of the published schedule

A nice hotel near Fira
The Majestic Hotel is a fairly new and well-maintained hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the public areas are very nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The only downside of this hotel is that is actually about a 10 minute walk into Fira so there are no shops or restaurants immediately surrounding the hotel. It is an easy walk though. The other minor drawback to the hotel is that although it overlooks the sea and the volcano, there is a fairly busy road in between. So a room with a volcano view also has a view of a busy road and then the sea beyond it.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
I would strongly suggest renting a car when on Santorini. Fira is nice but with a car you can explore many more areas of the island. I’d recommend going to Oia, to the Lighthouse for beautiful views, one of the many wineries and to Kamari Beach.
