Nice hotel, recommed it for a nice weekend, very nice and quiet surroundings.

Generally impressed
Our overnight stay was without doubt very comfortable and service was very good as was the food,however, while our room was very comfortable,there was no hot or cold water serving the bath,it seemed to me the water was turned off to save energy etc.That was bad enough but there was only enough hot water for one shower,not very good for a hotel of this quality.
Before booking in check with reception that there is hot and cold runnin water in your bathroom.

Need better cleaners
Bathroom bin was filthy as was bedside table - rings left from previous occupants drinks. Dust on most surfaces. Good breakfasts better than some 5 star hotels. Rooms were of a good size and bed comfortable.
