Lovely Hotel in a very pretty town
We arrived at the hotel after a long drive and the hotel reception had already organised our room and were expecting us and check in went really smootly after a small confusion over our name. The hotel is very well run and its clear that the management and staff had all had a very high standard of training (though not all spoke english which was suprising). The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable with lots of nice toiletries and complimentary sweets, nuts and water. The breakfast buffet was excellent, though the restarant food was quite expensive and involved slightly too much cream for us. I would definately go back and also definately stay in another Travel Charme Hotel as I was overall very impressed.

Great location in the Harz mountains in Germany
The hotel is located in the very picturesque square in the center on Wernigerode old town. The staff was very good. There is parking in a ramp adjacent to the hotel. The room was excellent, and the (included) breakfast was wonderful. The service in the restaurant was pretty good, and the food was good.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There is a narrow gauge steam train that goes to the top of the Brocken, the highest hill in the Harz mountains. The weather when we went was wild: rain, hail, and snow in May! on a good day it would be a great trip.
