Best Western Posada Chahue Huatulco
This is not a luxury hotel, but is very clean and well-maintained. Excellent restaurant and one of the only vegetarian restarurants in Huatulco. The chef has a green garden behind the restaurant for fresh produce. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor so we got our exercise. This hotel is a short cab ride (20 pesos) to just about anywhere. We enjoyed our stay and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
There is not a lot of night life in Huatulco, but we found the "Tipsy Blowfish" on the plaza to be fun.

Surpasses it’s value
I always read reviews before booking a hotel, so it was hard for me to choose this one since it didn’t have any reviews. I am so thankful that I called Expedia, I didn’t want anything expensive but it had to be nice, clean and most of all walking distance from somewhere (I need to see and enjoy the town). The staff was great and I mean really great, helpful, prompt and willing to make our stay a pleasant one. If all you need is a affordable, clean and safe hotel then I fully recomend this one it truly surpassed my expectations (I’m very picky). Not a luxury htl, but a lot better than some highly priced htls!!!!!!!
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
If you have time and a car drive to all the different bays and towns in Huatulco, Zipolite(unique and diferent), Mazunte(turtle town), Ventanilla(crocodiles), Juchitan(very traditional town), Puerto Escondido, Puerto Angel, don’t forget to walk to the downtown plaza.

Huatulco on the cheap
1 Kilometer from the beach and in the city. With shuttles to the beach and connections to all the activities. Nice little pool and restaurant. Pet iguanas. Not the high end luxury like some of the big resorts.
