Special in Every Way/Great Room for the Cost
This hotel exceeded the expectations we had from the photograph on the hotels.com website. We had hoped it would be unique and quaint, as it appeared. And it was all of that and more. Our room was incredible; very large with a loft for the bedroom area. (Ask for Room 209 to see if it or another room like it is available.) Breakfast inside a lovely appointed room or outside in a garden patio area was extensive with numerous grains, nuts, dried fruits, eggs, breads, meats and much more (although not included in the room price and expensive, but totally worth it.) The staff was courteous and very helpful to foreign guests, such as ourselves and others we saw there. The hotel is fairly centrally located, although don’t believe them when they say the walk to Old Town is only 15 minutes -- more like 40, but beautiful in a park along the Rhine (Rhein) River.

Large rooms, great staff
This is my 4th time at this hotel. This hotel has large comfortable rooms and an excellent and helpful staff. An excellent arrangement if you need extra space to work or relax. My room also had a very large terrace (third floor), The hotel is set in a quite neighborhood. Taxis are available in about 2 minutes. The two disadvantages are , 1)Internet is available at extra charge of I think 27 euros per day - very pricey, and 2) While breakfast is good, there is no restaurant for dinner in the hotel. there are several restaurants with in a 2 block walk.
