Beach House in Key West

We loved the Beach House in Key West. The staff were over the top in service and helpfulness. The 2 bedroom condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Grounds are beautiful and the pool is very nice.

Family Vacation with 3 kids

having three young children, ages 6,3,and 8 motnhs this hotel was perfect. The beach area allowed for the children to play in the sand and also enjoy the ocean. The zero entry pool was also a major plus. The pool, at it’s deepest point is 4 feet, which is perfect for young children. Every room has a nice screened in lanai with furniture. Be aware, there are no restaurants located at this facility and no bar at the pool, bring your own drinks including water to the beach and pool.

The Hyatt Hotel was a great venue on Key West to stay with the family it was located on the opposite side of the island of all the nightlife associated with Duval Street but was close enough spend the day at amongst the more sedated crowed.

Strongly recommended.

Great rooms with good balcony views

We never had a bad experience with Hyatt and this one was no different. We had a room with a great view. It has a nice pool, barbeque/beach area and a small pier for fishing. Remember that it is not in the heart of the key west and is located at the entrance to key west. Overall, it was a great room for the money

Good Value

The Hyatt Beach House was a very nice place. I really do not have any terrible complaints about the Hotel itself. The only downfall was the location. It is at the eastern end of Key West, quite a way from all the downtown action. We had to take taxi cabs to and from town. There is a great place just across the Channel called Huricane Hole. This place has water sport rentals, a bar and restaurant(Great Food). We did not discover this place until later in our stay. All in all The Hyatt Beach House was a good place to stay. The Beach at the Hyatt is not a beach it is just a sandy area with beach chairs. The pool and ’beach’ areas are nice, but a little boring. Some music would make it a better atmosphere.

Great room for the money.

I thought the Hyatt Beach House Resort was a great place to stay for the money. There was plenty of room and the view from the screened in porch was great. The hotel staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend this place and plan on going back again.

Outstanding Accommodations

The accommodations were excellent. Aside from the most appealing master bedroom, the screened in bacolny was very comfortable and relaxing, even in the rain. The location is right off the main highway (Route 1), getting to the other Key West sites was very convenient. I am considering the place as a possible time share interest.

Mostly retirees as neighbors but good for families

First, we were really surprised by the high standards and quality of this place. Our room was five stars. Very spacious with good interiors and everything we wished for. The staff was very cordial. In Key West, concierge at the hotel is key to all your plans. At Hyatt, the concierge was friendly but always busy. He tried but didn’t always get back to us on time. He offered us Hyatt vacation resort tour in exchange for 200$ per couple. We declined and there was no pressure. I guess at early 30s, we weren’t their target market. That said, if you are young couple without children or group of singles, avoid this place because it is filled with retirees. It seemed like a lot of them were there for a while. We hardly saw anyone our age. Any place near Duval Street is better for young couples and singles. For families with young children or retirees who want a affordable five-star place with kitchen, this is the place to be.

Very Nice.

Hotel had very nice, relax invioroment. Great spacious rooms, nice beds, jacuzzi inside master room, washer and dryer included. Kitchen had knifes, forks, pots, plates etc. to make your own food. Screened balcony/porch was unexpected. There is not an acutaul beach at the hotel, but beaches are just a couple of miles away and the night life too. That fact that we were granted an earlier check-in time was a definite plus. The on-site water sport rentals are at a hefty price, other that that it was a very good hotel all around.

Hotel and staff are nice, but hotel is NOT on a beach

We enjoyed staying at the hotel but was disappointed that it is not on a beach as the pictures indicate. There is a small dock and an area with sand but it is NOT a beach. You cannot side on the sand and walk into the water. You can dock your wave runner but that is about it.

Nice Hotel for the money

Very comfortable and nice for my family, we stayed just one night and even though we checked out early, we were allowed to use the pool area and the rest of the facility for the day.

Great Hotel

The Hotel have great service, very clean and comfortable. The only thing I was not satisfied with was that they did not have any activities for children. I have three kids and I always travel with them.

nice place, would not mind going back

Hotel was very much what I expected. Nice pool and grounds. Rooms spacious and comfortable mattress. Good location not far from attractions. The one thing that could have been better was the house keeping. Although these are some kind of timeshare units, house keeping did come in but did not do much more than replaced towels. The floor where never vacumed or swept. We were walking on dirt etc... had to sweep up the best I could. Area rug seem like it was never vacumed, screened in porch need to have been cleaned and wiped down ocasionally.

Great trip-Just rude next door neighbors

The Hyatt Vacation Club was perfect for our family. We had extremely rude and loud neighbors who thought they were the only guests at the resort. Once they left things couldn’t have been better. The walls between units were very thin-

Great Hotel

The hotel was very nice, very quiet. The pool area was great, with some trucked-in white beach sand. Perfect for children. The screened-in porch was an unexpected surprise. Although right on the water, never really left the pool area.

FANTASTIC TIME FOR ALL

We spent 5 fantastic days in Key West experiencing all that it had to offer. The hotel was just what we were looking for- a place like home. The rooms (2 br condo with kitchen) were perfect with all the amenities we could ask for. All the rooms have a view- ours of the pool and ocean. The location was just right for us also. Close to local restaurants/ shopping and yet away from all the hustle and bustle of the night scene which is a short drive away by car or the local tram service. Lots of walking paths to get our daily exercise. The restaurants were fantastic with all the local flair but very close by- even walking distance. We took a day to travel up Route 1 to Islamorada and had a great drive with all the scenery, a great lunch and trip back. Lots to see on the short 82 mile each way trip. We will definetely be back- not just for Key West but for the condo also.
