Wonderful Paris Hotel
The Hotel Vernet was charming. It is a small Paris hotel recently renovated in a great location. We had originally booked a deluxe room but were upgraded to a suite. It was roomy for European hotels, air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was exceptional. They provided us with the next days weather information each afternoon. And as we were there celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with a bottle of Evian with two wine glasses and cookies to help us celebrate. We spent seven days at the Hotel Vernet and would stay there again.

Great hotel right in the heart of Paris!!
Great hotel, lovely attentive staff, clean and comfortable. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Good location as is literally 1minute from the Champs Elysees and the Arc De Triomphe. For a cheaper meal choose a restaurant on one the many side streets rather than the Champs Elysees. Also look at your guide book and walk down a side street to go "home" if you don’t want to get caught up with the hundreds of people on the Champs Elysees!!! Great Hotel

not impressed
The location was excellent. The hotel service was OK, but the rooms are not as fancy as ecpected, the elevator was too old to operate promptly. The breakfast buffet was just tolerable. Overall, I would not recomment this hotel considering its high price level.
