Excvellent value for money

Great hotel considering the prices they charge and the location they occupy. Great staff, good facilities and really neat. I often stay at economy properties, and this one is one of the better ones.

Wonderful experience and value

The hotel was great with recent high quality renovations and exceptionally comfortable beds. It was surprisingly quite with very sound proof rooms (I stayed pool side). They did ask for an additional $1 per day safe charge which was certainly NOT unreasonable. Staff was courteous and as a single female I felt very safe.

Great Room for the Money

Good Room for the money. Did not like being charged for the room safe after the room was already booked. Had no use for the safe but still had to pay for it. Did not like a $100 block put on my charge card becuase I booked the room on line.All in all the room was clean,and updated,would stay there agin.

Very clean and modern room for a bargain!

I chose this hotel because it was close to where I needed to be for a conference the next morning. It exceeded my expectations with very new and modern furnishings including a small flat screen TV, frigde and microwave. This was the least I’d possibly ever paid for a room, but it was as nice or nicer than other hotels I’ve stayed in. The ONLY complaint I have is that the continental breakfast offered minimal choices. However, for the price of the room it was a small inconvenience. I would recommend this hotel to others and would absolutely stay there again.

Beware of hidden fees!

Arrived and was charged a daily fee for the use of a safe, which I didn’t want. I tried to refuse it and they said every room had one and there was no way of knowing whether or not you used it. They wouldn’t let me check-in unless I paid the fee upfront for my entire trip, which was ridiculous. No where during the registration process, was it mentioned that I’d have to deal with this and it started the trip off on a very sour note!

Great motel, will stay there again!

This is definitely a great place to stay. We didn’t realize when we booked it that it’s directly across the street from Old Town, and surrounded by Publix, Walgreens, Denny’s, etc. The room far exceeded our expectations -- everything was up-to-date with a state of the art TV! The side away from the pool is the best place -- the landscaping is beautiful and they put pavers down and tables with unbrellas for the guests. There’s a beautiful tree that blooms only at night and smells better than any other night blooming plant I’ve ever smelled! This motel is definitely worth it -- and the staff and management are friendly and helpful.

Ahhh choo!

The hotel seemed clean, but within a half hour of checking in three of the four of us had allergic reactions to something in the room. We had runny noses and sneezing. I’m guessing it was a cleaning product that caused the problem. The price was great, but if you have allergies, stay away!

Great room for the money!

When I arrived at the hotel I was a bit scared to check in. The outside of the hotel looks outdated and a bit dirty. When we went to check in the man at the counter wasn’t exactly rude but not inviting at all. When we actually got to our room we were quite surprised to see how clean and comfy it was. There was a flat screen and what looked like new furniture. We were quite pleased! Our room also had a mini fridge and a microwave which came in handy. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend it.

A lot better than the rest

We stayed here for a few days and it was fantastic! We were not expecting this at all for the price, but it was as good as the expensive ones. Very clean, big plasma-screen TV, very comfortable, safe area, excellent price, wireless internet, fridge and microwave in room, a nice place to eat outside with tablesthat have umbrellas, laundry facilities, and the breakfast was quuite nice (cereal, toast/jelly, danish pastries, hot drinks), the receptionist had change and sold soap for the laundry facilities. It was on the site of a Dennys (breakfast/resteraunt) and the local Harley Davidson rental. (there was no noise from the bikers!). It was a 1 minute walk from Publix (grocery store). Over the next few days we stayed at a few other hotels and they were no where near as high quality. My only complaints: - The wireless internet hub was down in my area and the receptionist didn’t know what to do. I was able to connect to another hub using a password but the signal strength was weak and took longer. - The receptionist would not let me take toast out of the dining area to the room, to my wife who was pregnant and had morning sickness. - There was only one tiny bottle of shampoo and showergel (in one) provided for the four of us.

Not impressed with front desk staff

The room was Nice and Clean... The front desk staff was quick to BLAME US for having pets in the room, they even embarrassed us by searching our room like if they were the Police! Once they realized we didn’t have ANY pets in the room they said in a threatening tone "You’re lucky we didn’t find any pets." Terrible customer service ettiquette!!!! Beware!!! Hotel puts down food and water for their own animals/pets and tries to blame guests for bringing pets!!! Hotel is quick to Blame for having animals in room to want to charge!!!!

Do NOT stay at this hotel unless you want to be blame for having a pet in you Hotel room.

Nice place for offseason stay

Hotel room was modern and clean. Flat screen LCD TV in the room was nice. Shower leaked and the toilet was not secured to the floor. Harley Davidson dealer next door made for loud noise early in the morning and late at night. Located behind a publix grocery store. Made for noise from delivery trucks when staying during the week.

good hotel

we stayed in this hotel for 1 night before taking the kids to Disney. the rooms were very nice, much better than expected for a super 8. very comfy beds, flat screen TV, super nice desk/headboards etc. obviously newly renovated. the only down fall I have is, the clerk charged us a $1 for use of the safe (that was in the room) but which we didn’t use at all, even tho we told him that we wasn’t going to use it, he still charged us. he also charged us an unexpected additional $100, above and beyond what we had already paid for the room, saying it was a room security fee. we did get that $100 back tho when we checked out. for those reasons I would not recommend the place, but because there is other pluses I do recommend it...

Satisfied

Great personnel, the room was clean but the toilet needed a little more cleaning other then that very satisfied with the hotle. Location and surroundings were awesome.

Great room for the money

For the price I thought it would be a dump... but it was really nice!

The hotel was easy to find and close to everything I needed. For the price it couldn’t be beat. There was a mini-refrigerator and a flat screen in the room. The beds were in pretty good condition and the room looked like it had been newly renovated. I would stay here again!

Get what you paid for

My 2 day stay - The hotel had dirty old towels. There was a large dead bug on the bathroom floor. The bed had grooves on the sides.(worn out) The blanket was old worn and had balls of hair on it. Needless to say, I slept with just the sheets and a blanket I purcheased at Ron Jons surf shop. The bathroom walls were very dirty. (use your imagination)
