Yuk! Dingy and Dirty with Bugs
I know Super 8 is not the Ritz, but this place was terrible. The check in was not helpful moved extra slow. The room was hot, carpet was sticky and had dead bugs in it. The shower turned cold when least expected. The tv remote did not work and the beds were very springy. The hotel price was not very low for what was received. Do not stay at this hotel unless you carry your own cleaning equipment and vacuum!

need improvement
cats were hanging around the doors trying to get in the rooms.you kind of figure it out that they probally get in during cleaning each day.

Very disappointed
Generally the overall cleanliness of the motel were unsatisfactory. The carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed in quite some time. The bedspreads were stained and there were no fitted sheets on the bed. The beds themselves were sprung and uncomfortable. The shower and the commode both ran constantly which was both annoying and a waste of water. The restaurant section was torn out of the telephone book and the recepticle into which the alarm clock was plugged was hanging from the wall with exposed wires. We will never stay at another Super 8 Motel again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The only attraction in the area was South of the Border; an overrated tourist trap. If I want to pay $3,000.00 for a German beer stein I will go to Germany. The premiere restaurant in the area was a Shoneys. Even the locals told us if you wanted to find anything to do in the evening you had to drive at least 30 miles an any direction. This could be a nice little town with a bit of civic pride applied in the right places.
