Perfect location with wonderfully refurbished rooms
The hotel itself is a bit outdated but the rooms have recently been refurbished. The are extremely clean and comfortable. While not directly on the lake, we had wonderful views of the lake and castle from our balcony. The front desk staff were very helpful with assisting us in outdoor activities in the area, directions and restaurant choices. Although breakfast is served until 10am, the food tends to run out and is not restocked for the late arrivals. Overall a wonderful stay, I would highly recommend it. They are pet friendly as well and we had no problems with our dog.

Economical, Well-placed Hotel
Great location, good view if choose Lake View, Decent breakfast buffet, economical and in same location as the most expensive hotels.

Much Better Hotels in Bled
I paid a lot more for a lake-side view but was given one overlooking the parking lot... If, however, I leaned out from the balcony I could see the corner of the lake and therefore it was considered a "lake-side" view. When I complained I was told they were all full since they were hosting 3 conferences that weekend and I was unable to get a different room. Also had to pay 20 Euro per person to have use the sauna.
Traveller's tip on dining
If you are going to stay there, don’t eat there... I ordered a pepper steak with potatoes and received an overcooked steak with and cheap frozen french fries.
