CLean, but understaffed

The room was clean, the breakfast fine, but the motel was understaffed. When we arrived, there was a sign at the check-in thanking guests for their patience, that someone would be back in a few minutes. About 10 minutes later, a woman arrived saying she had to change light bulbs--that was why she left the desk. At check out the next morning we discovered the desk clerk not only had to check out guests but manage the breakfast area, so she spent most of her time replenishing items such as yogurt and fruit. Both ladies were very pleasant but had too much to do--not their fault, but a definite management or ownership problem that needs to be addressed.

Would stay again

I was a little worried about staying at this hotel before arriving based on some of the reviews I had read on the internet. We checked in on August 28 and checked out on August 31. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, with waffles, eggs, juice, ect... The only problem we had was the tub didn’t drain very well and the pool had a little too much chlorine in it.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

The hotel is right across from the horse racetrack and within walking distance of Adventureland.
