great location, renovated
I’ve stayed here a few times, and it is much nicer since the renovation. The location is great, just off rt 287 with easy access to NJ turnpike, rt 1, Parkway, train to NYC (Metropark or Metuchen), Newark airport. Rooms very comfortable. Diner across the street so-so but convenient. Bakery across rt 27 also. Good value for star rating.

One Night Stay
I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Edison, NJ for one night. The hotel has great curb appeal and the inside lobby was beyond beautiful. It looked like the mall inside Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas with the painted clouds on the ceiling. Check in went well. The room was so nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable and billowy. The bathroom was very clean too but they didn’t restock the sample mouthwash, but I wasn’t going to use it anyway. The only gripe I had was that I booked a room with a fridge and microwave, but the room I got didn’t have either. I rang the front desk and they said they would send them up. The fridge came (in a very sloppy condition) but there were no microwaves available. I was just a little irritated because I brought some dinner with me to heat up, but I’m not one to get fussy. So I just dealt with it. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations; I have stayed at a different Crowne Plaza before and these are getting to be at the top of my hotel choice list!
