Historic Hotel
It is an old venue, but service is outstanding. Location, convenience and overall experience made it a very good hotel.

Good service but room needs modernization
The hotel was easy to find and is impressive in its appearance and surroundings. The service was excellent and the staff most helpful. The restaurant was good and plentiful though not exceptional. Location is within easy reach of all that there is to view in Tadoussac. The room was acceptable and reasonably comfortable but te decor is rather old and could do with total refurbishment and modernization that would make it far more attractive. In general we enjoyed our stay but were always keen to get out of our room that was a bit depressing!!!
Tadoussac is small and there is not all that much to do once you have had a walk aroung and been o the boat trip to view the whales. Always dress up VERY warmly against the high wind while on the boat. Make sure that kids have enough to occupy them.

charming hotel in a spectacular setting
nice hotel, good restaurants, very friendly staff (mostly bi-lingual), rooms are somewhat spartan and walls not very sound proof (which adds to the hotels old-time quaintness). we had a great experience - but i would add we had great weather (cool) and i’m not sure i’d want to be there in a heat wave - little to no A/C?
Traveller's tip on local attractions
i would assume most people going to tadoussac would be aware of the main activity- whale-watching. would recommend the zodiac boats (can set up right at the hotel) and it is an exhilarating, worthwhile experience
