Perfect location
We arrived early but staff very accomadating, taking care of our bags & suggesting we relax upstairs and have a refreshment. Seemed more like a B&B. Felt very comfortable. Room felt like it was "leaning" (not level). If you put something on the sink at faucet, it fell into the sink. But, all was good. Great time. Suggestion: request canal view. GREAT LOCATION..Would definitely return.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Great location. Of course, dont miss St. Peters Square. We did the Doges Palace. Loved it. Many places to just sit and have a drink or snack. Pizza shops everywhere and wonderful. Suggestion: take water taxi and visit more than just this area.

Fantastic location and service!
This hotel was perfect for our stay. Im the kind of person who likes 5* hotel, but being in Venice, my budget couldnt quite afford it. However, this hotel is perfect for a 2-3 night stay. The location is ideal and probably the best service Ive ever experienced. Room is fine (lots of charactaer) and the price is fair. The only downside to it all is the breakfast, but it certainly wouldnt put me off staying in this hotel again.

Superb Location
Situated literally steps from the Rialto bridge, this hotel is an ideal base for exploring Venice. A doddle to find, the friendly staff welcomed us throughout our stay. The rooms are decorated in traditional Venetian style, adding to the ambience. Breakfast is fairly basic continental fare, with a selection of cereals, breads, cooked meats, cheeses etc. but the breakfast room does look out onto the Grand Canal, which makes up for any shortcomings. Only minor complaint was lack of shower curtain/ screen, so a good shower also meant a very wet floor. Rooms equipped with TV (remote supplied on arrival), mini-bar and free safety deposit box. Also had a spa bath (not sure if this is standard), but much appreciated after long day of walking. Towels were good size, clean and fluffy. The internet station on 1st floor was broken, but the lovely (if slightly eccentric) lady on reception allowed me to use her computer. All in all, I would use this hotel again when visiting Venice.
Beer (my usual drink of choice) is very expensive in Venice. I recommend drinking wine, as this is much better value. If you do want beer, get to Bacaro Jazz during happy hour (4.30-7.30pm) for 2 for 1 on Heiniken.
