AHEAD OF ITS TIME
City Inn has always been ahead of its time, providing CD players/video players before its competitors but it has outdone itself now. How many hotels provide you with a fully working Apple Mac for your TV/radio/CD/DVD/internet needs and all free. Fabulous hotel with exceptionally friendly staff in the restaurant (Manuel) and a good value Market menu - 3 courses for £16.95. Hard to find a better deal.

Good except for the NOISY LIFT
Excellent location, friendly helpfull staff, love the mac in the room. Just one big thing to watch-out for, make sure you don’t get one of the rooms near the lift as the noise will keep you up all night. Fortunately the friendly night staff moved us at 4am. Otherwise I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
Very short walk to the town centre and all the shops and the night life. Recommend a visit to Cabot circus, for shopping eating and drinking.

Modern, comfortable hotel.
Although the staff were busy, they were pleasant and welcoming and sorted out minor problems promptly and courteously.
