Nice
Nice staff, clean, and the bathroom was recently updated with new tile, and fixtures which was done very nicely room 109.

Relaxing place
We only stayed here one night but it was nice. Our room was very big and it had a full kitchen. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and much appreciated. They had wine, cheese, and crackers in the afternoon and a continental breakfast with some excellent pastries in the morning. Only 2-3 blocks from the wharf/ocean. We ate at Emiliio’s Italian Restaurant near the wharf and the sea bass was great. We recommend this place for anyone. Will definitely return. And the staff was helpful and friendly.

More restful than most.
Hotel is about 1/2 mile off of the beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet isn’t bad for a motor inn, but doesn’t have waffles or eggs. Mostly pastries, coffee, cereal, bagels, and the like. Pool is a little small. It’s basically a very nice, clean, and comfortable Motor Inn.
Traveller's tip
Prices are a little high for the Motor Inn category, but not high for the Santa Barbara area. The hotel is VERY convenient, so that probably accounts for some of the premium cost.
