The location and parking of this hotel can’t be beat!
This was my first stay on Coronado and the hotel was fabulous when we first checked in. Great location (across from the Hotel Del), great underground parking with friendly service and nice rooms. The worst thing that happened was on our 3rd day of the stay - we headed to the Loews Resort for a spa treatment and on our way out the door - the receptionist informed us that we had to change rooms because the owner of the room (time share owner) was checking in. There was NO communication about changing rooms and this caught us by surprise. Needless to say, our second room was a disappointment with a view of several rooftops and older finishings in the room. Make sure that you are in the SAME room for your entire stay if you’re booking on line and make sure you get a room facing the Del as you’ll get a great breeze and a nice balcony (if you ask for it).

Very noisy
If you can sleep through noise, this is an excellent place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was comfortable. The location was very convenient to restaurants, the beach, and the historic Del Coronado Hotel. The only real down side is the noise. When your neighbor showers or flushes a toilet, the noise will wake up most people. Also, unless the residence above you walk softly, that noise also can be an irritant. If you like to sleep in on your vacation, this is not the place to stay. If you are an early riser, you may find this resort a great place to visit.

A nice surprise
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel for the price. Very clean and up to date. The suite was large and well furnished. Staff was great and parking secure. Right next to Hotel Del Coronado, for lots less money. we will go back.
Traveller's tip on dining
Del food good, but expensive. Eat at the Brigatine for much better food at a good price. Within easy walking distance. Don’t forget ice cream at Mini Moo’s.
