Extremely clean rooms; Great location
My brother and I stayed in a twin bed room. Though a bit small compared to rooms in the U.S. the room was very clean (a must as those of us who travel frequently and internationally know). The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel location (Bloomsbury) was central. Pancras International was a short walk away making my day trip to Paris via the Eurostar convenient.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
The bus stop right outside the hotel takes you directly to the London Eye!

Single Travellers Beware!
I stayed at the Ambassadors for one night on the 18th July. The room had been pre-booked through Expedia but on entering the room I thought I had opened the door to the broom cupboard! It was tiny. The view was a wall and dirty drainpipes a few metres away from the window. As this was the first night before an overseas journey, I didnt want any hassle and so said nothing but this was indicative, yet again, of the rooms handed out to people travelling solo. I wont use this hotel again, nor any hotel that continues to penalise people for single occupancy by putting them in broom cupboards, despite the qualities of the hotel. On my return from the overseas trip, I stayed at a hotel nearby where I was treated to a large, airy room - for the same price!
