Very clean prison cells

I knew based on reviews that the rooms were small. I was planning on staying in london only one night, because the train to london wouldn’t get me there in time for a flight. I only needed a clean place to stay. This place was very clean, very well organized, in a good location (underground station feet away from hotel), but very small. The breakfast was fine. I dare you to find a clean room with a breakfast for this price. My room was 7 feet x 11 feet (no joke, I measured). The bathroom was 3 feet x 7 feet. The shower was 2x2. I think they did a great job organizing the room given these miniscule dimensions. There isn’t much (any?) room to walk around, but in a city like London, you should spend almost no time in your room awake. Once you close your eyes, every room looks the same size!

basic convenience

While my room was right above the terribly busy Euston Road and Euston tube station, it was well-insulated from the sound and I was able to sleep well. This single room was the smallest hotel room I’ve ever rented, but it was ingenious in design and very comfortable. The breakfast room was inviting and the food was basic but very good. Staff were responsive, pleasant and friendly.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

It is a pleasant walk down to Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square the British Museum. It’s also very close to Euston and Kings Cross stations, which facilitated my timely exit to Manchester at 6:30AM on the train. Many nice Indian restaurants within a block.

Nice Place, stark decorations, toxic bathroom

We requested a handicapped room and the bathroom was positively toxic. It smelled like the London sewer system was about to back up into our shower and toilet! The room was nice enough, though "simple modernist decor" translated to "press wood furniture and not enough chairs." The location is great though, and all the employees were very nice. Felt like it cost more than what it was worth though.
