good value for money
The serive was not very friendly, but that applies to most of spain. The hotel would need a renovation but is in general vert clean and the location is great. Deffenitly good value for money

Great location
This hotel is in a great central location, is very reasonable, comfortable, has air-con and staff are helpful. There is a small pool with sunloungers too! Only thing missing is a mini bar or fridge in the room.

Perfect situation to tour Tarragona
Hotel Lauria was in the most central location right at the foot of the rambla nova near the balcon meditaranea. The rooms were large with on suite facitlities. Even though this is a city hotel there was a lovely secluded outdoor swimming pool. I cannot recommend this more highly and I and my friends will certainly be returning to this hotel which was extremely reasonably priced. Although in the centre of the city the only noise was the sound of birdsong in the morning.
Traveller's tip on dining
Although not typically Spanish, one of the best meals I had was very close to the Lauria hotel and was the restaurante chino Nuevo Shanghai - The best chinese meal I have ever had. The service was winderful, the food spectacular. The waitress even gave us a lovely bottle of chinese liqueur to take with us - on the house!
