Very nice. Great location.

Nice hotel. Rooms with good views of the Victoria & Albert Waterfront. Great breakfasts. Very close to many of the big attractions in Cape Town.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Caution: The hotel charges a fee for calling a taxi. We paid 50R (about $6).

Close for Safety

Excellent hotel & close to V&A waterfront & reasonably safe. Good breakfast & savour the delicious early morning omelettes or steaks. Food & Restaraunt staff excellent. Bar + staff & atmosphere leads a bit to be desired. THEIR Superior rooms are excellnt ask for one @ back with view Marina & Table mountain.

Traveller's tip on dining

Hotel Car Park attached is quite Expensive & you can park around side or back of hotel for nothing if you acquire one of the free parking spaces. Restaurants Hilderbrand(Italian)& Willougbys (Fish)on V&A are good & reasonable & you havn’t got the aggro of the waiters trying to drag you in.

Excellent and well located

Would definitely look at this hotel first if I returned to Cape Town. 4-stars easily, pushing 5-star. Quiet and functional rooms, safe, courteous and attentive service, superb breakfasts, and a stone’s throw from the Waterfront shopping and restaurant complex. The fact that the swimming pool water temperature in the spring was reminiscent of the Baltic Sea in mid-winter was an amusing challenge which did not prevent good exercise. If it’s too cold, use the excellent gym.

Traveller's tip for business travellers

Outstanding choice of local restaurants within easy and safe walking distance. Good taxi-ordering service in hotel.
