Highly recommended
Fantastic, friendly service. The location is perfect if you want to go out around Long Street. Its a short drive to the V&A. The pool with pool bar is a nice touch and the breakfast is delish!

Not really a tourist hotel
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights as part of a 2 week holiday in South Africa. I cannot fault the hotel on cleanliness, staff or the service that they provided however if you are going to Cape Town as a tourist I wouldnt really recommend that you stay at this hotel. It is about a 20 minute walk from the Waterfront and any of the main restuarant and eating areas, and most of the businesses around it close at 5/6 in the evening. That is not to say that we didnt feel safe walking in the daytime but I wouldnt have wanted to walk around there in the evening. The room itself was quite basic and lacked any kind of atmosphere especially comapared to some of the others that we satyed in during our holiday. If I was on business it would have been perfectly adequate but I wouldnt recommend to anyone looking for a romantic break away. I can however highly recommend the hotel restaurant as having some great food & wine and some of the friendlist staff we had the pleasure to meet.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Highly recommend that you jump on one of the tour buses at the waterfront. You can get on and off at several tourist destinations and really does show that there is more to Cape Town than a mountain!
