Not too good!!
Apart from the cockroaches, the pealing wallpaper (held on with sticky tape in places), the miserable staff and the so called "full breakfast" which was a coffee and slice of toast in a cafe across the road and the fact that the room was too small to open a suit case in, it was great! I won`t be returning.....

Very Good
Nice stay. Friendly hotel staff and there was a Chinese restaurant onto the hotel with friendly staff and good-priced food. Very convenient location, walking distance to Clarke Quay and other tourist areas. I would definitely stay there again.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
If you fly in, get the airport shuttle bus. About an hour or hour and a half and they’ll drop you for SGD9.

Temple Street Inn
Hotel Room was fine. Very cramped and small, but clean. Staff was friendly. They do not have broadband access in the rooms as advertised. They do have 2 PCs in the lobby for use at a charge. Old and small compared to the Riverview and Capthorn, but you can’t beat the location.
There is an internet cafe in the Pearl Shopping center - top floor.
