Would definitely recommend it - and probably go back!
The hotel is in a classic tall, thin Amsterdam townhouse. It has a boutiquey feel to it but wasn’t at all pretentious. I had the smallest room in the world but it was perfect, comfortable, warm and just what I needed. The location is amazing; not in the middle of the city, but close to trams, canal taxis, museums (and shopping for those so inclined).
The hotel is across the street from Vondel Park - beautiful for walking, cycling, running, roller blading or just sitting and admiring the view

Outstanding Hotel
Wow! the hotel was beautiful, great decor, and the view to the garden and back seating area was amazing from my window. I reserved the room with a twin bed and although the room seemed like it might be small it was set up with modern furniture and nice decor and quite roomy. It was my first time in amsterdam and the staff was able to help with directions and recommendations. Breakfast buffet had many options. Very near tram, the forrest, shopping area, holland casino and museums. I had an amazing stay.

Everything was fine
Small room, but it was hip and had a balcony overlooking the park. The neighborhood was fine and you can walk or take public transport as you choose.

There was an Indonesian deli down the street that served a great take-out mutton dish.
