Lovely hotel!
I stayed at this hotel with my friend for a five day break. The hotel was very clean and relatively easy to find our way around. The staff all spoke English (apart from the man who came to fix our tv, oops!) and were very friendly and helpful. A shuttle bus was organised to pick us up from the airport for less than the cost of a taxi. The pool and sunloungers were lovely, especially when the sun was out! The only downfall is that to swim in the pool you had to wear a rather unsightly swimming cap. The hotel room was clean and comfortable (but the bed was slightly hard for my liking, but each to their own!) and the selection in the minibar was excellent. In the area around the hotel there is a nice selection of restaurants and ice cream bars (scrummy!) all very reasonabley priced. I wouldn’t really recommend this hotel to people aged 30 and under looking for nights out as there is no nightlife in the area (unless you’re on a couples holiday). However, for a couple of euros you can get a bus to Pisa, then catch a train from there to Florence, which is the best day out I’ve ever had! All in all, a marvellous holiday!

Relaxing
Hotel is situated on the beach front. The swimmming pool is vey large, swim caps must be worn. Very relaxing around the pool with plenty of sun loungers, deckchairs and sunshades. Bedroom was of a good size and comfotable bed, but no balcony over looking the pool. Some rooms do have balconies. Breakfast was of the usual variety of cereal, fruit yogurt, cold meats & hot foods of scrambled eggs and sausages. Breakfast could be taken indoors or outdoors, situated on the 1st floor. We did not have lunch or dinner in the hotel so we are unable to comment on the food. We ate in the local restaurants and they were are of a very good standard. The area is quite small and quiet and looks a liitle tired in certain areas. Sun deck chairs & sunshades were available on the beach free of charge with a charges for sun loungers. We spent three nights at the hotel and were pleased with the situation of the hotel, the hotel staff were pleasant & helpful when we requested a taxi to the airport that needed to be booked the day before we checked out.

Great Hotel on the Beach!
Grand Hotel Continental is one of many hotels in this area, but is hands down the best. The staff is friendly, the location is good, and everything is top quality. Highly recommended!
