The hotel is spot on - in a great spot too
We loved the hotel’s location. Very very clean, stylish room. Very Small, but it had everything including tea and coffee making facilities, fluffy robes etc. Perfect.

Good hotel in lovely area
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Saint Michel for two nights in August. It’s a very quiet, clean, modern and comfortable hotel in a great area. It’s opposite the Sorbonne and around the corner is Luxembourg Gardens. It’s a five minute walk to the Saint Michel/Notre Dame district which is busy and touristy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Everything is modern and new. The rooms are small but that didn’t bother us. Although we did find the hallways a bit too dark. The reception area is small and lacks atmosphere. There is no restaraunt or bar in the hotel but plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The reception staff were were polite but not very friendly. We got a decent rate on Expedia, it seemed a fair price. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, safe and clean hotel. More 3* plus than 4* but good value.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Use the Hop On Hop Off boat tour on the Seine. A great way to see Paris. The Marais district is lovely and worth a visit, full of interesting streets, shops, cafes...

Very happy
Very good location. Close to the subway (RER - which we took from CDG). A couple of blocks from Notre Dame. ATM at the corner. It had everything we needed.
