Very suitable
I found the hotel spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with rooms better than the hotel’s 2-star rating. The staff were friendly and the free internet access was also useful. On the minus side, I thought the breakfast was not great value at over 9 Euro a pop, including very weak coffee. Location was not bad but I would have preferred something closer to the Cathedral and Chateau.
The city’s top eatery, la Cigale, is nearby, just opposite the Theatre Graslin. A good place for a last-night treat, but not cheap.

Great value hotel in a lively district
We were pleasantly surprised by how good value this hotel in centre of Nantes was. Rooms quite small but lovely, brand new bathroom. Great location for eating and drinking especially near the excellent La Cigalle.
A couple of good lively bars in the same street/nearby streets with a slightly older crowd.
