Nice hotel and staff for a stay
We enjoyed the Claridge very much-the staff were fine and the reasonable for a quality hotel.

Reasonable, affordable hotel in excellent location in Leblon.
Rooms are intended for apart-hotel use, so with your room you generally get a generous amount of space and your own kitchen. Location is excellent, in the middle of Leblon with several bars and restaurants around, and the beach just 3 blocks away. Parking available without problems. Breakfast served upstairs with view over the whole city, quite simple but fresh and good. Not the pinnacle of luxury, but I had a nice, uncomplicated stay here.
Traveller's tip on nightlife
There are several places around the corner, like pizzeria Guanabara and bars like Diagonal, Jobi and Belmonte that are buzzy and open late, even on weeknights.
